About the game
Each garden is a grid of tiles with little channels on them. Turn the tiles until the water from the spring reaches every flower, and the garden blooms.
A leat is an old English word for a small channel dug by hand to carry water to a mill or a garden. That is exactly what you build in every puzzle.
There is no game over and no rush. Play at your own pace, with soft music that changes with every garden.
Features
- 8 story chapters with 80 hand-tuned levels. Each chapter adds one new idea, like tiles that turn in pairs or two springs whose water must not mix.
- New ideas are shown with a short animation, not a wall of text.
- Endless mode with new gardens forever, Relaxing or Challenging.
- Every sound and all the music is generated in code, so blooming flowers always ring in tune.
- Level ups unlock new looks for tiles, water and flowers.
- Progress syncs between iPhone and iPad with iCloud.
The story behind it
Leat is made by one person, with no studio behind it. My family were the first testers. My son said the story was too easy, so the early chapters became more challenging before launch.
